School Classes

Description

Purchase a number of seats that are pooled across classes in your School.  The class-management  page allows you to create as many classes as you wish – add teachers to them along with students and manage this on an ongoing basis.  You can add to the pooled seats at any time.  Teachers of course classes do not use licence seats unless they are also enrolled as a student.  The administrator of the School seats does not have to be a class teacher but can be if desired.  Seats are valid for the current calendar year.  If you just want a single class for now then use this product – you can add seats and other classes later in the year if you want.

Teachers of each Class can use their own custom course or share the same custom course with other classes in their School.  The seats are pooled across classes in your School account.  Teachers and Admin don’t use licence seats unless they are enrolled in courses by you. The Class Management page allows you to create as many classes as you wish – add teachers to them along with students (upto your purchased seats) and manage this on an ongoing basis. You can add to the pooled seats at any time by purchasing this same product again with the same email as the initial purchase.  You are the administrator of the School seats as the purchaser. The school seats administrator does not have to be a class teacher but can be if desired.  Seats are valid for the current calendar year.

Class Management:

• create the classes you need – naming them as you desire
• add a teacher to each class (teachers can have multiple classes + classes can have mulitple teachers + teachers aren’t students in the course unless you add them as such)
• add the students to each class
• all the teachers and students will automatically receive email notifications of their StemAcademy enrolment with instructions.
• teachers can, if they wish, create a custom course using the Teacher DashBoard from the StemAcademy content bank or use the prebuilt Coding & Robotics course (note that you as the purchaser/admin will not have a Teacher Dashboard unless you add yourself as a Teacher to a Class)
• each teacher can have thier own custom course or one of the teachers can share their custom course with the other teachers for their class.
