About StemAcademy
StemAcademy was built by Mr Tony Grudzinski, a high school STEM teacher with over 25 years of classroom experience in coding, robotics and science education.
Throughout his career, Tony has worked directly with students and teachers to deliver practical STEM learning, while also running teacher professional development and leading initiatives such as the Fraser Coast Robotics Competition.
Tony remains a registered teacher and now focuses on developing StemAcademy alongside a range of education technology projects, including:
- StemAcademy Courses
- ScratchLink Blocks and ScratchLink Codes
- MyGrades and MyGrader assessment tools
- ScratchLink Robotics hardware
Before entering teaching, Tony worked in research and teaching laboratories at QUT, UQ and Griffith University. He holds a graduate entry degree in Education (Chemistry & Mathematics), a First Class Honours Degree in Science, and an Associate Diploma in Applied Chemistry.
Built from real classroom experience
StemAcademy is grounded in real classroom practice — not theory.
It has evolved over many years of teaching STEM, robotics and Digital Technologies in Queensland schools, with a focus on:
- practical, classroom-ready coding and robotics
- tools that genuinely support teachers
- improving student engagement through hands-on learning
Our approach
Everything developed through StemAcademy is designed to:
- support teachers in delivering quality learning
- reduce workload through practical tools and systems
- provide clear pathways from coding basics to robotics and real-world applications
Based in Queensland, Australia
StemAcademy operates from South East Queensland and works with schools locally and beyond.
